William James Easton
my p-bass needs a bit of a rewiring. Does anybody have an idiots guide on how to do this. i always used C.D.T/D.T/shop (for our U.S users) as an excuse to get mashed so didn't pay much attention to soldering etc. any help would be great. At the end of the day just think potts neede cleeaning and jack input to be soldered up to the respective wire.

BOD2
There's also the nicer graphical version from Seymour Duncan (same info, nicer pictures) http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wirin...matic=std_pbass If you don't actuall need to rewire anything and just want to clean things up then Super Servisol Switch Cleaner is your friend - http://www.djstore.com/item/sersuper10.htm Take off the scratchplate, attach the supplied "straw" to the tin and spray a little inside each of the pots. Then apply some onto the jack socket contacts too.
