worth changing the tone and volume pots in my 5er?

my squier vm string is awesome however have upgraded the input to a better quality one and when he was doing it noticed the pots although they work fine are pretty cheap Chinese pots, so is there any bonuses to changing the pots? could i maybe put in a larger or smaller value tone pot for a bigger sweep?

also have thought that at the same time i may put in a switch to put everything on 10 straight to the output as flicking a switch is easier than changing turning three knobs on my jazz.
