nash
Can you run amplitube and play a song on the iOS music player at the same time? If so this will easily help with practice.
Kiwi
I don't use it but similar kinds of software often have their own player built into the software.
Kev
Have to say, Amplitube is the weakest iOS music app out of the popular ones for bass. Best by far for me is Guitarjack, but Ampkit is cool too. Look in the settings for something relating to running in the background, could well work. But If I were you I would download one of those 2 apps. My Ric through the B15n model on Guitarjack is superb
Woodinblack
I use it (on the iPad rather than the iPhone, but same idea). No you can't run the music player at the same time, but you can import any track into it, which is a little more of a faff than it sounds but does let you play along (slow down, speed up, set balance etc). gafbass02
I use it with a music app called robick, which lets me slow down, retune or take the bass out of tracks while I play along with ampkit.
DaytonaRik
+1 for Ampkit - you can import any track from your iTunes library and play along.

[/quote]i use irig and find it very good, i think you have to pay for a bass amp in app store, i downloaded the ampeg one but no doubt there's loads more now. nash
Right. I was in Cranes today and bought the Peavey Ampkit Interface. I'll try it out tomorrow. I can't find Guitarjack on the App Store.
