Samashton12 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Wasn't this a BC'ers project? If so, anyone know who it was? http://www.gumtree.com/p/guitars/gibson-epiphone-thunderbird-1970-s-replica/1048063272 Quote
Thunderbird Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I think the one that was on BC was a Fenderbird project Quote
GreeneKing Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 It looks nice. Is it a neck through Epiphone I wonder? Could be worth a go. Probably better than the modern 'real' thing? Quote
Muzz Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 The Fenderbird/Laklandbird that looked a bit like that is mine (there's actually been two ), but that's a very nice one - the tuners, bridge and pickups will have cost as much as he's asking for it. I'm sorely tempted... Quote

(Bolt On IV's have the input jack on the face of the body, by the Tone & Volume pots) This seems too familiar.. Quote
Samashton12 Posted February 21, 2014 Author Posted February 21, 2014 Found it! Thread here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/222191-just-completed-my-retro-1970s-gibson-epi-thunderbird-project/ Quote
NancyJohnson Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I think we're all guilty to pimping our gear to a degree, but people don't give a toot that the hardware came from the US. At the end of the day it's still just a bolt on Epiphone. Quote
