JPJ
Being a huge fan of the SWR sound, I was wondering what, if anything, is going on at SWR these days? Last I heard they'd been bought out by Fender and a quick look at their website gives no clue with most of their signature products (SM Series, Redhead etc) no longer listed. Musky
SWR have gone the same way as Genz Benz under Fender. Another one bites the dust.
paul_5
Yup. Sadly they are no more. . Best look into servicing my SM400 a bit more often.
gsgbass
Don't forget to add Sunn to the list that went under Fender's wheels.
Gwilym
Is there something "new" going on? Fender bought SWR well over 10 years ago.
Roland Rock
Is there something "new" going on? Fender bought SWR well over 10 years ago.
Fender bought SWR well over ten years ago, and kept the brand alive until around 2012. Now SWR are no more.
