Pestie
I think I have read that these exist!!!! I have an EB3 bass that is neck heavy and wondered if anybody knows where I can get hold of one of these straps. I think they have weights at the back end to counteract the neck heavy problem. Any ideas of make, where to get one would be really appreciated. Or, if anybody has one they don't want that would be great. Thanks Mike(Pestie)

BassTractor
Yup, they exist, and pix have been published on here recently. But it's adding weight, and we don't like weight, so I thought that in cases where a wide strap with neoprene or similar isn't enough, that one could have some artificial "sealskin" on the inside of the strap. That should give more than enough resistance, as the "hairs" will point "towards the upper horn" so to speak. I'm gonna try that myself, and will report. Phil Adams
Trouble is, when you try a bass in a shop, you sit with it on your knee. I was planning to try and EB3 tomorrow, I am now forewarned, thanks.
