terry
...well a wet and windy Scotland really. I'm Terry and at 42 I am completely new to the Bass, or any instrument for that matter. I have decided to throw myself in at the deep end and picked up a Fernandes Gravity Deluxe 5 string, which is actually making learning quite interesting I look forward to the banter and advice from the guys and girls on here. Take it easy.

BassTractor
Hey Terry, Welcome! I'm pretty sure there's another guy from Kilmarnock and one from Irvine or thereabouts on BC. There's certainly one from Greenock, but that may be stretching it a little seeing as how close Glasgow is to you. Anyway, shout out and someone will certainly answer. Enjoy the bass! bert (another noob) Edit: Dub Junkie is from Kilmarnock, and Biskitbass is from South Lanarkshire. You could PM them. BassTractor
You're welcome. Also, I just remembered there's someone here from just North of Coylton. I'l dig a little, and will report if I do find him. If not, you could always shout out in General Discussion. Many people seem to read there. Edit: Found them. The guy from Irvine is DanTheMusicman (Daniel). He hasn't been active lately, but in 2012 worked in a music shop in Irvine. Also, in Beith you have Funky Dunky (Duncan). Before you ask: no, I can't do this trick for the whole world. It's just that I tend to notice when people say they're from Ayrshire or thereabouts - as I've been there several times and am quite fond of some folks I know in Coylton.
