adamlunt
If I was to make a DIY fuzz pedal using veroboard/stripboard would I be able to allocate an unused strip on the circuitboard as a point to which all ground connections can be wired, or would I have to use a chassis ground? Thanks, and I hope I've posted this in the right place
rmorris
[sup]In general you can take all the 'Grounds' to a strip on the stripboard then connect that strip to the chassis (assuming it's metallic of course) by a wire or braid.[/sup] Edited February 28, 2014 by rmorris
icastle
It would depend on the circuit, but you'll quite often find that the negative rail is generally connected to earth anyway. If that's the case with your circuit then there's no need to make a separate one.
