Horizontalste Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) I've been listening to and playing alot of Bowie lately and last night while drinking copious amounts of Irish whiskey and watching videos on YouTube, it dawned on me just how good Gail Ann Dorsey is. I think she is the epitome of what a good bassist should be. She lays down the groove in an effortless no flash kinda way and has a very cool stage presence. Check her out if you haven't already. Japhet Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Been watching some recorded Bowie documentaries this week which has highlighted just how good Trevor Bolder was. So much of their stuff was recorded with minimal rehearsal and some of TJ's basslines are so well put together. He was one of the very best in my book.
