She makes complex, electric alt-pop, with huge swirling arrangements of strings and guitars. Her biggest heros are Peter Gabriel and altrap impressario doseone, and she spends most of her time trying to track down obscure Rephlex records releases. She is currently working on a follow-up EP to her Cool For Cats-released single 'All Heart No Brains', with producer Dan Cox (Lianne La Havas, Tom Odell) [i]“Kit Richardson begins singing, and my jaw drops. She stretches, trips and cartwheels her words and vowels which seem choreographed to pogo along with the music. The songs are certainly jaunty, but feel almost subterranean in depth...Bewilderingly diverse pop songs...Amazing.” – ARTROCKER "If you were looking for a new Kate Bush, we might just have found one for you … I think along with Stevie Nicks, Kate Bush really is the other holy grails of female vocalists isn't it? And frankly Kit RIchardson is the closest to it in my mind recently." Gill Mills, AMAZINGRADIO / "Fans of the glittering music used by the likes of Florence and the Machine will adore this record, while those who enjoy the clever lyricism and tone of Regina Spektor will love listening to another female artist with both brain and heart aplenty."
