MindGoneBlank Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 (edited) Mint condition, boxed and pretty much as new, Darkglass B3K. Widely regarded as the best overdrive/distortion pedal for bass. This is one of the rare and coveted Made in Finland versions. What does that mean? That means, other than the obvious location at which it was put together, it was built lovingly by hand by Darkglass owner and founder Douglas Castro. It is numbered inside. Douglas no longer makes pedals himself and, as his company grows, so will the value of this pedal as collectors look to snap up one of the originals made by Douglas. If you've not seen it, he posted a fascinating Youtube video showing him making a pedal. You can see it here: Can post or pedal can be collected from Ruislip, North West London (HA4). HazBeen Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Come on my Finnish B3K, grow in value and make me rich.... mwhooohahaha. Great pedals these, I have the Finnish version too and it is firmly in the "filthy dirty" corner of my board. Same design, less American
Mark Dyer Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I'm beginning to wish I hadn't been so hasty in selling my (Finnish built) B7K, I forget the serial number now but I purchased it over two years ago. Silly me...
MindGoneBlank Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 For some reason I haven't been getting notifications about posts here. Apologies for lack of response. Pedal is still available! :-)
