Guest bassman7755
Its worth noting that the PLX range are the "mid weight" range i.e. 10kg or so much lighter than a typical old school amp of this sort of power. Its 500 damping factor, 25hz HPF and ability to drive 4ohm in bridge and make it ideal for bass rigs where you want to drive stacks of well controlled power into speakers without any damaging sub sonics. Its basically THE go-to amp for building a modular bass rig. Edited March 11, 2014 by bassman7755

NancyJohnson
Can I ask a question here. (I know so little about impedance.) If you're running this in bridged mono, are both Speakon outputs active? I'm running a pair of Hartke Hydrives which are both rated 8ohms...one in each output or daisychained? P
Acebassmusic
I am assuming you have 2 x Hydrive 410 (1000 Watt @ 4 ohm) In bridged mono mode the QSC only uses Chan 1 and provides 1600 watts @ 4 ohms & 1000 watts @8 ohms. You could run a bridged speakon cable from Chan 1 of the amp to your first cab and then a standard speakon from Cab 1 to Cab 2 (daisy chained). This would give you the full 1600 watts at 4 ohms. The sound would be mahoosive! Hope that helps
