Rowley Birkin QC Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) Don't know whether this is in the right forum, but here goes. I'm completing a refinish on my Washburn status headless, which I've refinished in white. What I need now is a high quality decal making. I've previously bought a good quality waterside Fender decal from Northwest Guitars and something like that would be ideal, however, I believe they just buy them in, perhaps from the states, so may not be able to create me one. In fairness the decal is all in black, and I have created the decal in a graphics program, but I don't have the equipment to produce a high quality waterslide. So, can anyone point me in the right direction? I would settle for a vinyl graphic, but it would have to be really in a very thin material as I want to lacquer over it and don't want to be able to feel an edge. Any ideas? You can't print metallic inks and you will not get the depth of colour or black from an inkjet printer. Quote
Pete1967 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Another vote for Rothko and Frost... Good kit and good service. Quote
Rowley Birkin QC Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 Thanks for the input guys, I'll drop R&F a line. Quote
neepheid Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I've had good stuff from http://plankspankerguitardecals.com/ before - including this: Quote
rubis Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Anyone know if Rothko and Frost will do a decal with your own design or are they only available with the script shown in the examples Quote
