Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has moved from a GB Neox 212t to the Berg CN212 and whether you think its a worthwhile move?

Other than size and weight does the Berg offer more tonaly and can it go louder?

Or should I go get anothrr Aguilar GS112 to pair up with my other?

I'm using a genz benz stresmliner 900 amp as well as an ebs hd350 - I have a tonehammer pedal which I often use.

Thanks in advance
Freddie

The CN212 may have a LITTLE more output, but it comes down to tone. Whether you prefer the Genz or the Berg CN voicing.

If you picked up the Genz in the GAK sale, then I would suggest that the Berg is not worth twice or three times the Genz.

If you find you are needed more volume, then you'll need more cab. :)

I went from 2 Bergantino AE112 cabs to a CXN212 and the improvement in tone was subtle but still there, so it was a good move for me.

Streamliners are reported to work well with the CN cabs.

I haven't heard any GB cabs so I can't comment on those.

It's a bit of a trek for you, but I'm playing in Weybridge on Saturday if you want to hear a CN212.

Cannot comment on the CN212 but got the NX2- 212T at the bargain price of £375 from GAK, just when I was about to pull the trigger on a CN212. Well happy with the NX2-212T.

Same here! Had the money ready for a CN as well but caught the GAK sale.

For that money the NX2-212T is such a quality cab and it has completely cured my GAS (at least for now)
