I bought this pickup a while back to put into my 1966 Precision as I wanted something hotter and more punchy, like my JV Precision.

This is a great pickup, so good that it was too close to my original 1963 Fender pickup I had been using. I had to try other pickups to find that slightly different sound I was looking for, which ended up being a Bare Knuckle 58 Precision pickup. Makes sense really, as the later 50's pickups are different to the 60's, which the SPB-2 is modeled on and the JV is based on a 57 P Bass, doh!!!!

So these really do sound like what they say they do, a proper vintage 60's Fender pickup with a little bit more of everything and without sounding too modern.

I've been keeping hold of it in case I ever got a cheaper P Bass to put it in, but I doubt that's going to happen so it's up for grabs.

It's literally had less than one hour use, comes with the box, instructions and screws.
