Grangur Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) Hi there, This is a fretless neck. Well I bought it as that. It's probably from a Squier, but someone may set me straight on that? Good points: Nice grain Truss rod works, Neat defretting - no splintering signs. Lines filled with filler to not show the lines much. Dated May 89 Bad points: The real one for me is the truss-rod will compensate for string tension, but doesn't have enough action to get the neck flat under tension. That may not worry you, but it won't give much of a mwaaa sound without it going flat. No nut. In short it could be a nice neck for someone to try re-fretting, or it may be your thing. Or you may want to rip the truss rod out, or use it as a stick to beat intruders... (I did NOT really say that!!... but it's a better option than Oscar P's choice) Price now £18 shipped to the UK. Thanks for looking Cheers Richard Edited April 25, 2014 by Grangur
