Kev Posted July 9, 2008 Author Posted July 9, 2008 (edited) the second type are the worst strings iv ever used for every reason, trust me, mine went dead in what seemed like a few hours, and shortly after that the winding appeared to become loose, shocking quality, and id expect the same from the first, strings should never be that price im just after a freebie dead string/s that would just go in the bin anyways Edited July 9, 2008 by BassManKev

gusto Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Maybe a bit off topic BUT, has anyone else ever picked up a pack of Kaman bass strings? There used to be a shop in Luton called P+T music that sold them. The packet said "These strings have been cryongenicaly frozen to enhance their molecular structure, increasingly their playing time tenfold." and still only 15quid for a 5 string set. they were sh*t.

I know i could have gotten them for a few quid off on the net but i'm trying to buy everything from shops now, one in particular. Edited July 12, 2008 by budget bassist
