FRFR Bass Rig

Is any one using an FRFR rig for bass.

I've just bought a pod hd500 for my guitar playing (wanted something to feed our in ear monitor setup without micing up my guitar amp). I plan to start using this for bass as well to reduce how much stuff I have to carry.

We run into a good pa with sub so it's really only if I need a speaker for monitoring purposes.

I'm just wondering if I could build 1 rig that would work for both guitar and bass (and acoustic guitar)???

Anyone else tried this?

I'm chatting to Matrix Amplification about this very subject. Like an active studio monitor on steroids that can handle low end too... mmm, sounds almost to good to be true... well, it could be true, if your pockets are deep enough!
