There was a 70's P on here not long back, probably the worst example of bitsa I've seen. 71 stamped neck, body dated to 76, not original pots or pups yet out at £1200+. To me, that is a bitsa and frankly I would rather spend half that on a modern well made bass that I do not have to worry about provenance/being made a tit off. I do that very well myself. Quote
