7 String owners

Mornin all,

I'm considering taking the plunge after years of wanting one. Back in college I played a six (Hohner B Bass VI, still regret shifting it), got on really well with it too. The one I've got my eyes on is a Bassmods K7, but restringing it with a low F#.

Before I take the gamble, is there any 7 players down south near me (Portsmouth), so I can see if I can get along with one before ordering?

Yep, a Shuker 7 string I designed with Jon Shuker. I'll post a pic. It's also tuned down to F#.

I had an Overwater 7 a while back (it's still on here somewhere). I have a Bassmods K6 and it's a wonderful instrument so I'm betting the 7 will be awesome too! I'm in Southampton.

I am nowhere near you but i use a 7 String custom ACG bass tuned: EBEADGC so dropping the F# to an E.
