ParrotDye
Hi all, I have been playing bass for a year or so and using Rocksmith and RS2014 as my sole output. At this point, I feel I am able to play well enough to justify branching out to others, get the hobby going properly, and think about lessons/gigs and all that good stuff. Rocksmith is a very solitary experience and so I have come here to get an impression for what concerns a bassist typically has. I'm particularly interested in group dynamics and gear. anyway, for anyone still reading, I have an Ibanez GSR180 and of course a PS3 ; the very next thing to do is get an amp and a group of buddies to play with, but for now I hope I'll be welcome amongst the assembled ranks of bassists here while I find my feet. ParrotDye
Thanks for the line in peeps. I'm not very talkative as a rule but I do read compulsively. I'll probably put something down for Rocksmith since it seems under represented here.

BassTractor
Hey ParrotDye, Welcome! As to getting lessons, there's several from Swindon on BC already, so they MUST give you a BC buddy discount. I command them! Enjoy! bert

[/quote] Just want to add the RS2014 is one Hull of a cabinet, but it's overkill really. Personally, I think TC Electronic should never have built it.
