originalfunkbrother Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 Hi guys I have an acoustic bass that I want to use more in a live setting but the last time I did, I had massive problems caused by the feedback from the sound hole. I have seen these sound hole covers but I am not 100% certain if they do cut out the feedback. Does anyone have any experience using the hole covers either on acoustic bass or even guitar? Thanks! ratman Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 I've got an accoustic 4 stringer, an old Ozark. The pick up feeds back a lot. So, I bought a feedback buster and it did the job. But as my sound hole is oval I had to cut it to shape. There's no worse feeling than buying something new and the first thing you do is go at it with a Stanley knife. Thankfully it worked out fine.
