Matte_black Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) Hello, I'm getting rid of most of my equipment since I basically got into collecting it instead of using it... and with 5 cabs and 4 amps it's getting ridiculous. I also have 5 basses and always use one. Anyway, this is now a rare example of Ibanez Ergodyne, the series made with the AFR body shape (designed by Rolf Spuler). It's really a wonderful looking instrument and even if the body is made of luthite it's got a lot of volume unplugged, sounds much better than many "good" basses I tried. It's equipped with one humbucker in the sweetspot, Fishman piezo into the bridge, mono-rail saddles. As I said, I always liked this body shape a lot so maybe I'm biased. This one is grey, very good conditions, still has the plastic film with the controls layout. One little worn spot into the finish right over the pickup (from thumb resting). I'm after £260+shipping. You can check my feedbacks here. Payment by bank wire transfer (preferred) or paypal in the worst case http://www.ibanez.co...guitars/EDA.pdf Edited June 22, 2014 by Matte_black
Matte_black Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 I'm in Italy. I'll have to check the exact weight of the bass since shipping costs vary a bit under and over 3kg. Anyway shipping within Europe isn't too expensive. Give me a few hours and I'll take a few decent shots.
offmybass Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Hey, do you still have this? Also any idea how much shipping will be?
Matte_black Posted April 23, 2014 Author Posted April 23, 2014 Hello! Yeah, I still have it... shipping should be £35 up to 5kg.
Matte_black Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 We could split shipping costs in case you're interested... I need to make some room and move a few things out
Grangur Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 These are really cool basses. I had an EDB600 as a starter bass. Lovely fast, slim neck, a comfortable weight and loads of variety in the tone. GLWTS
Rick05 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Just wanted to say that this is a fantastic bass. I have the 5-string 905 version and it plays like a dream. It is extremely versatile and has never let me down, it looks incredible aswell. Good luck with the sale
Bassassin Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I have an EDA900, these are great basses, incredibly well-balanced, light & easy to play. Completely unique & very versatile sound as well. Jon.
Matte_black Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Lovely Triumph! Always liked the "nuclear red" finish... thanx for the comments, it's really a nice bass and with a high-quality pickup it could really be awesome.
Henrythe8 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I remember tryong one back in the days. Very comfortable, very versatile with the piezo, very light. Was pretty expensive for the student that I was back then.
Matte_black Posted May 19, 2014 Author Posted May 19, 2014 The neck is very thin and fast and yeah, the bass is pretty light.
