Have someone else in house with you

Make it obvious to caller that you're not alone by talking to that person when caller arrives

They're probably just as nervous going to a strange house especially if female

An old couple local to me were knocked out and robbed in their own home after agreeing to let a buyer collect... this was off ebay I think. You never know. If you have a large mate who can accompany you that would be best I think.
