Jimelliottbassist
Played this today for the first time. 2x15 cab really growls!!
Bassman Steve
I have the Diesel version but I have to say that you have what I consider to be the absolute best rig any money can buy. The Boogie 2x15 isw just an immense cab. You've just saved thousands of pounds in messing about with other stuff over the next years. Had mine for 25 years now (with a Bass 400) and I haven't heard anything to match - though many will disagree of course.
Jimelliottbassist
Cheers! I've had loads of rigs over the years. I think you're spot on!! Such a shame Mesa have stopped making them.
Bassman Steve
Maybe but I did used to use two of them and gave up as the second was totally unnecessary. I only ever used it when supporting bands so I could see the main band bass player's face when that rig appeared on stage. I wouldn't have the 2x18 but for the fact I got it for £62 on Ebay! keeponehandloose
my 2 Mesa 15s of lovelyness come in a Walkabout combo and matching extension cab. Placed side by side on stage -boom. you know its right when you sound check and your guitar player listening out front says " the bass is massive through the PA " really? its not even D.I.'d yet...
