tertiumquid Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I need help in choosing new pick ups and possibly new electronics for my fretless 90's Bass Collection bass. It's one of the "top line" basses with quality wood, it plays great but plugged in I know it could sound better... I'm thinking either EMGs or Bartolinis but I'm told that I may not even need extra electronics installed... Any thoughts...?... Thanks. Quote
pete.young Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I have 3 Bass Collections. All have the original pickups in, but I've replaced the electronics in 2 of them. I used a cheap Artec SBP3 which worked fine, and an expensive Nordy which works a whole lot better. Quote
