Pictures were taken by my luthier.Gitarion.pl is his website.I rely on his opinion. That man has writen a few books about guitars and I think he has serviced hundreds fenders. If you have doubts I will ask him to make better pictures....

Yes please,

I would like a photo of the neck date

I have a doubt... as some early corona have lots in common with fullerton
To my opinion some aspects are fulleron, others are corona, especially the neck

Pots are the same on fullerton to corona from 86/88, and it is really difficult to read the neck date on these photos... But it looks like a 86 neck

Well I think it really need a clarification. I present my apologize if I' m wrong;

Ok.I am going to clarify it.Maybe you are right.Really looks like 86 or 84.I'll take the bass to my luthier.Pictures soon.
What if pictures won't make us sure?

Doubt it. People spout a load of crap about Fender serial numbers. In '82 I ordered a pair of Fiesta Red '62 reissues and requested adjacent serial numbers. I got these in early '83 and the numbers were in the 16xxx's. According to that graph those basses would have been '86's. When in comes to Fenders there are very few certainties and a hell of a lot of exceptions.

I can make my opinion on authenticity with multiple informations and détails.

Sorry but the serial n° is high, that' s true as Gareth said.
I don' t understand how 84 can be read on that the neck ? Neck is the only way to tell the year of the bass of that period (pots are all 82, serial is not adjacent, I just never saw a fullerton with a n° that high). But yes it' s possible.
If I read this neck, 6 is the last n°, not 4
There is some détails that didn' t match for a fullerton. The logo is wrong.

At this time my opinion is an early corona (86 ?) with some fullerton specs (not all of them) or a it can be a fullerton with a replaced neck.

Yes some details change on fender depending on the period. But there is not a lot of exceptions from a period... Just ignorance about details that we all have.

That logo is perfect for a Fullerton model. It's the inaccurate one, before it was corrected on Corona models.
I know this not through histrionic conjecture but because the instrument is exactly the same as mine.
Also, I know of Fullerton serials up in the V017***s

IIRC the Fullerton reissues of the stack-knob jazz omitted the resistors from the control set-up that were supposed to stop the tone controls affecting the other pickup. That is exactly what is shown in this photo from the linked gallery page - no extra resistors:

Quite right, jack_b.

Whatever anybody tries to conject on here about their expert (lolz) knowledge, the fact remains that you have here a fantastic bass for sale at a very good price.

Good luck with the sale, Jack.
