Something I'm working on.

I'm using an oboe sample, but I've enlisted the help of a lady oboe player who's very generously donated her time to replace the samples with a real oboe, in return I've said she can use the music on her website.[/color]

Did you decide not to go for a flute then?

Having playing Oboe in a previous life, I have to say I think this piece suits the dynamic of an oboe.

Sorry I only just saw your reply.

I'd still like to use flute too. I emailed your friend and sent her a rough mix of the music, she's probably like me and got loads of work on.

Very nice. Reminded me a lot of [i]Departure from the Northern Wasteland[/i], an album I used to have by Michael Hoenig. Good production values, although I think I would have dropped the level on the percussion just a tad, as it seemed to dominate the overall aural spectrum. Not a serious flaw, just a personal preference.
