Bought in 2011. Bass has received a PLEK setup.
In 2012 the bass was upgraded with a Bartolini NTMB 5.4. 3 band EQ with a variable mid frequency switch.
This was done professionally by a luthier.

Hi Funkle: The bass weights a little less than 4kg / 8.8lbs and is very balanced (no neck dive) and thus feels lighter too.

I've just taken delivery of one of these and absoluely love it. Ridiculous amount of bass for the money, and so playable. I imagine this mod takes it to the next level too. Bump!
