The bottom pic has the one dink on the back of the neck. It is about a quarter of the way into the 1st fret and only feelable if you get in there with your nails. Any other marks are only reflections or shockingly poor polishing. It is in very very good nick. cos I am sad like that.

I am in Bangor, North Wales.

Thanks for the offer of a second wife but after 24 years I am still learning about my first one and I cannot multitask.

Don't you find that these basses you've always wanted comes at a time when you're waiting to be paid from several gigs and you have to do something to the house, car, sell a wife or cat or something!

The basses I have always wanted are ALWAYS coming along. However, what I fancy doing to that MTD is stringing it up with a bottom F# to see how it works. It is probably too expensive to be experimenting with!

Talking of a bottom F# ...
I recently put a set of D'Addario balanced strings on my Status
Had to get a 4-string set with an extra B-string to suit
It is a 145
The bridge is a drop in type like the Marilyn
But I still had to file it out to get it to drop in
Not very obvious on a chrome finish bridge, but a black one might be a different story
And I presume an F# would be even fatter

What I really want to do is get hold of a 6 string NS EUB, get it fretted and put a bottom F# on it. Needless to say, this will not be happening any time soon!

Yep, it is still here. I am away at the moment so cannot measure, but it is standard Status spacing, not the tight one.
