Boosting the volume of a pedal: advice needed

I have a pedal I want to use but it has no volume onboard and it unusable because of a volume drop when deployed. I'd like to get the pedal up to a louder volume.

My question is, what is the cheapest and simplest way to solve this problem?

If I could activate the pedal and have its volume boosted with one switch...that's what I'm after..

you could run it in a loop of a Boss LS2. Then leave your pedal on and turn it on and off with the LS2.

Just set the loop volume on the LS2 nice and high.

You might be able to mod it depending on what it is? Saves having an extra pedal on board to finx another.

Boss LS2. It'll also allow you to mix a clean signal with it if you want to.
