MuddBass Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Hi, My DI XLR output (rear of Genx Benz GBE600) decided to start cracking / popping at a recent gig (if lead with touched even slightly). The lead was ok, so I have just taken apart the amp to see if there is a problem with the socket. As the pictures show, there are small cracks at the bottom of the socket - so I guess it needs replacing. Any ideas where I can get a suitable part in the UK? The socket is mounted on a PCB board and attaches with two screws at the front. Thanks Greg Quote
SubsonicSimpleton Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) Not original fitment, but if can measure up the duff socket this is worth a look - neurik are real easy to buy, just google the part number and retailers will pop up - maplin is often a good bet as you can eyeball the product and compare directly to the old one. http://www.neutrik.c...ctors/d-series/ maybe consider a better quality replacement, neutrik have proper technical drawings of all their connectors, so you can check that it would fit first I would guess that this might do the job (male xlr vertical pcb mount) worth noting they supply muliple versions with different pin coatings http://www.neutrik.c...eries/nc3md-v-b technical drawings appear on the downloads section, right hand side of the page. edit: just noticed the threads on your pics this one has threaded mounting holes http://www.neutrik.com/en/xlr/d-series/nc3mdm3-v Edited March 18, 2014 by SubsonicSimpleton Quote
