£3900

Hello !

Sadly I have to sell my beloved Jazz Bass from 1968. Everything on this one is original.

The bass is Olympic White with matching headstock. The condition is near mint, simply amazing for a bass of this age.

Comes with its original Fender hard case and the pickups covers. The sound of this bass is incredible, the best Jazz I owned.

The bass is in Paris, France, but I can send it with full insurance and tracking to the UK.

I have already sold a bass here, my feedback on basschat :

I will soon make some more pictures of the neck stamp, the pots...

To all potential 'relicers' - this is what an original 45 year old bass looks like. so put that angle grinder away for crying out loud.

When it's been kept in a case maybe.

How about this, for a 'working' 1968 P bass

How the hell do you get wear on the lower bout underneath the neck?! Let alone enough wear to take it back to wood!

Crazy.

God only knows. Some had a very thin finish I imagine. Maybe a bizarre slap technique? There are plenty of beat-up looking 60's basses though, they don't all look like Closet Classics.

Perhaps now is the time to point out the original poster hasn't been on Basschat since May 28th.
So, any interest in buying it may be better through PM :)
