I believe I've found another

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bass-guitar-body-PUNK-ROCK-RELIC-80s-sunburst-/161229392839?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item258a054bc7

Clearly this bloke is the same league of deranged as the seller linked by the OP if he expects £65 for a PLYWOOD body that he's dragged across his garage floor

You are not far wrong ... As a french polisher , back in the 80/90s i used to specialise in high quality " replica " period pieces from the 17th century...
I used all manner of " special tools" to age the
Pieces ranging from a 3' chain , a brick , red hot nuts and bolts to my favourite , a folded up band saw blade ....
Then there were the chemicals ....

Just seen this horror on gumtree

http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/fender-jazz-bass-relic/1059170060

nice custom scratchplate

is the road wear meant to replicate what happens if you keep your bass out of it's case in a small caravan full of woodpeckers?

Oh dear!

When I see these I actually feel compelled to buy them and sand them back, kinda like when you're buying a pet and you take pity on the sickly runt so you can take it home to nurse it back to health. Then I look at the prices and think "f**k that".
