Guys,

Details here as I recently got this from Flanker.....

http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=22233&hl=bn5

It really is probably one of the best basses I have ever owned. I am only selling because I want to trim down the collection to one or two basses and concentrate on them and I have deliberated for days as to whether to keep this or the Nordy. Ultimately the tone of the Nordy slightly suits the covers band I play in more.

Not really interested in trades unless you have a quality preamp or head that I could take as part ex.

Thanks for looking,

Based in Birmingham - would prefer meet up/collection to ensure its what you want and are happy etc.

I will try and get some of my own pics up over the weekend.

Steve

There was a price in Flankers thread that I linked to and I assumed wrongly that people would read that and know that I was wanting about the same.

The price isn't cast in stone but it won't be leaving me for silly money so any offers or interest let me know.

If it hasn't sold by the time I can book some leave to get down to London I will leave it with the Gallery to sell.

Thanks

Steve

It was a really close call as to whether to keep this or the Nordy VJ5 but the Nordy just suits what I am doing better at the moment so its back up for sale.

Get in touch if interested in this fantastic fiver!!

Thanks

Steve

The Studio has a 20 fret neck, the BN has two frets more. According to George Furlanetto the Studio has more mass at the body and thus more low midrange punch - though I never missed any of that on my F-Bass.

Not sure really but I did a search on talkbass on 'BN5 AND studio' and there are a number of threads discussing this.

I don't think the studio is made anymore. In one thread a couple of people said the Studio was more precision type sounding and the BN5 more jazz like but that could be complete rubbish.

Anyway, lets BUMP this beauty back up to the top.

I know F basses aren't as well known over here as in the US but this is a seriously good price for this bass. First to see and play with the money will buy this bass.
