lowdown
QJ has done so, so much, a real Musical craftsman. Rod Temperton's song writing credits are pretty outstanding as well, and he did some killer stuff with Quincy. (Not bad for a geezer from Cleethorpes). The Quincy Jones 75th Birthday celebration concert is worth a watch/listen, some awesome singers and Musicians (Nate East on Bass) who have worked with him on show. The first half is more Jazz, the second is mostly groove. 2 & 1/2 hours of great music (IMO). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xl_TWGo3JMc
