mxm Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I'd say they're pretty rare but they'll gather dust in shops as they're more of a specialist item, so it may be worth hunting ?!!! Or chances are you may get a decent deal on someone selling one bundled with a preamp of some description. Quote

[/quote] You can get a Mesa Boogie Prodigy for the price of a CTM300 A cheaper option is to get a older all-valve head, e.g. Sound City 120 or 200 and just use the power amp stage though the Effects Return. I would suggest a Mesa Boogie Strategy 400 - 200w a side. But they don't come up very often. Quote
