Matamp Rig For Sale ***SOLD PENDING*** £1600

The years are catching up on me, I'm afraid, and I've decided to go down the lightweight route. So I've decided (somewhat reluctantly as I know I'll regret it) to put my Matamp rig up for sale.

Bought in 2012, I've had it from new and it's in absolutely pristine condition. It comprises a 200 watt GT200 head and an 8 ohm 4x10 cab rated at 1200 watts. Comes with Roqsolid covers for both.

The head uses 4 x KT120s delivering 200 watts of clean tubey warm bass.

The cab is fitted with 4 B&C drivers.

This is quality gear, hand built in Huddersfield. They are a work of art.

Due to the weight, this is collection only but a meet up within 100 miles of Leeds is possible for the cost of the fuel.

I know you are a big Matamp fan and, owning their gear, I fully understand why. They are great amps and this cab, because it is sealed and quite deep physically, gives loads of bottom end. It's a reluctant sale, I have to say.

If you want to convince yourself you have to sale, don't try the 81 82 83 pre-amp valve combination Quimby and I have talked about - fat clean and growling fuzz available ;-)

yeah i have tried the amp with more gain pre tubes but the setup with most volume and perfect gain and crystal clear tone was ecc81/82/83.
unreal amp and the price you are selling for all this is also great.
I wish the cab had blue tolex.

You could always get it recovered. If Jeff wouldn't do it there is always Sgt Pepper. I'd be up for taking the head. Only thing is, I've no cash til my student loan gets in at the end of next month.
