4Everdelayed Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 (edited) SOLD Up for sale is my lovely 2009 Gretsch G6118T-LTV Anniversary. TV Jones classic pickups, pinned bridge, Bigsby B6 vibrato, 1950's trestle bracing and a two-tone Cadillac green nitro finish. Basically a suped-up version of the standard Anniversary model. There is a large scratch in the top and a very few minor ones else wear, but apart from that it is in beautiful condition. Not played much and never gigged. No fret wear at all. Only recently purchased but I don't think I get on too well with big bodied electrics and doesn't really suit my style despite this having been my dream guitar for a long time! Sold with a brand new Compton stainless steel bridge (see last pic) imported from the states (worth £45) if you wish to swap out the stock adjustomatic. May be interested in trades, Fender Mustang/teles/jazzmasters, Gibson SG, ES335/slimline semis. Would prefer collection from the Island but can meet in Southampton or Portsmouth. Asking £1100.00 Cheers! Edited May 2, 2014 by 4Everdelayed
davedave Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Phwoar! Plenty of love here matey. But no cash, which makes me a sad panda.
JapanAxe Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 As a Gretsch owner and player (Duo Jet), I can tell you (1) that is a good price, and (2) the Compton bridge is a worthwhile (nay essential, though easily reversible) mod. GLWTS!
Owen Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014
No love?
I'm feeling something a bit more basic than love, but being a very poor guitarist I could not justify having such a piece in the house. It is proper lush though.
4Everdelayed Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Thanks for the response guys! I haven't had the guitar long. I always wanted one then soon discovered the body size and feel just didn't suit me. Should've tried it first I guess . Guzzibass, that Gibson 'the paul' sounds interesting but I think it's too similar to the Gordon Smith I currently have!
Utterly beautiful! Are these US-made?
No all the Pro Gretsches are Japanese made now
4Everdelayed Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) Bump. Price now down to £1100.00. Think this is the lowest I'll take! Cheers Edited April 10, 2014 by 4Everdelayed
ezbass Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 How has this passed me by? I do love a Gretsch hollow body and this one is spectacular. Have a bump.

guzzibass Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Just wondered if a '72 Streamliner would be of interest? Sorry
