Fender Squier Japan 1984 A-Series 32" Precision (PB-331)

Very rare 32" scale Japanese Squier P bass, made in the early days (84).

This is 'roadworn' - the paintwork is fairly marked, bashed, cracked in places, however the neck and frets are in great playing condition.

The not very good original pickups have been replaced with excellent Fender Originals:

The pots, jack and Capacitor were replaced with these top drawer CTS stuff and orange cap from here:

All installed at Charlie Chandlers Guitar Experience, Hampton.

Strung with Medium scale TI Flats. The bass is really great to play and sounds superb. The neck is much like a jazz neck with a thinner nut (38mm) with tighter string spacing than a 34" Precision. The frets are low and fairly wide. It plays extremely well all up the neck. The truss rod works properly and the neck is set almost dead flat, with a low action.

Weight I around 7lbs but I'll need to confirm if you want an accurate measurement.

Please feel free to ask for high res pics, and any other questions.

Because these are rare and excellent basses I have suggested a price of £400 + post, which is what I paid for it prior to replacing the electronics. Make me an offer if you think it is worth less. I am happy for you to come and play it (Kingston, SW London).

No case but will be excellently packaged (check my feedback).

No trades thanks.
