Hello!

I'm currently modding a Sunn Mustang (NOT an FMIC model) and need to replace the tone pot but I can't decide whether or not to replace all of the electronics. If I'm going to the trouble of replacing the pick-up (Bill Lawrence EB60-PC ready to go) and the tone pot, should I just go the whole hog? If so, what are people's opinions of circuits and what do they recommend?

Then there's always John East's P-Retro kit. Not cheap, but damn fine by all accounts.

Those two are your finest options. Kiogon can make it with solderless screw connectors as well, to make your life even easier!

For the additional cost of a volume pot and a capacitor (about £5-7) I'd change the lot. If you're handy with a soldering iron then it's not a hard job.
