Miller 100% Carbon Fibre Hollow Fretless/headless
£900

Im selling my beloved and extremely rarer German made Miller bass.
The bass is 100% carbon fibre in construction, made from 1 piece of carbon fibre...and completely hollow.
The bass is VERY LIGHT..WEIGHING AROUND 5LBS!
It is fitted with a Haussell MM type pick up with a 2 way switch...for series/parallel.
The bass is passive, and uses conventional strings, clamped at the headstock end.
It took me years to track this one down.
I seriously doubt you'll find another.
The company website gives very little info..but each one has to be made individually..none are available "off the shelf"
The condition is excellent..but there are two dings on the back of the neck
Im asking £900, but don't be nervous about making an offer.
Not really looking for trades....but I do like a nice bass so if you have something out of the ordinary..I'm willing to listen.

Indeed. Struck me that if my bass collection had to genetically reproduce, this is kinda what it'd look like. A SteinRay.... ;)

So is this a fabfour, a fabfour startup, or something else? (http://www.miller-instruments.com/basses-english.html)

I was intrigued by the look of this bass and your efforts in finally tracking one down, I decided to try and find another, a five if I could. It took me all of 5 minutes to track one down albeit with a 4 week wait! The following text is from Charly Mueller (Miller Basses) 14/04/2014 and applies to the FabFour and the FabFive!

Just sayin'

Well done to find one, at those prices, looking for hens teeth paid off for you. For me, if I did'nt have a Status Streamline, yes especially fretless, but, I'm trackin' down elusive NT Thumb 5's so a Miller is a dream at the moment. GLWTS
