Reduce price on item for sale?

I am trying to sell my MM stingray but would like to lower the price. I have tried editing it using the full editor but when I submit the revised description the price stays as the old one. HELP!!!

Just change the title or update the description

I don't think you can change the initial value once set. Just make the change clear in your edited post and maybe in your next bump.

For what it is worth, as a Forum mod I can't do it on my own listing so I think it is a case of updating in the title and the main body of the text. I reserve the right to be corrected by an Admin but as said it has indeed come up before.

When you post in your own thread to bring it to the top of the pile. There are rules about how frequently you can do this in the marketplace.

Just put something like, 'BUMP for price reduction to £XXX' or similar.
And you can edit the original post with 'NOW REDUCED TO £XXX' under the price that can't be changed.

Nope, that's spot on.

The un-editable price field is a system generated one.
Forum Mods, Global Mods and even Admins can't edit that field.
