Now I Can Play "Diamonds" - Squier 6 by Fender

Cor - I couldn't resist it - I saw the videos & immediately ordered this - it arrived today.

Magic.

Three pickups all with individual switches, one bass "strangle" switch, one volume, one tone - and, oh yes, one tremolo arm.....................

Marvelous.

Block markers & a rosewood board too. I've wanted a Fender 6 for years, but they are all very expensive, and often in poor condition.

I had a go on the Jap reissue, but this one has way better switching - like the original, (and was way cheaper too).

Just needs a bit of tweaking, and probably a new nut making - I'm off to the Haslingden Guitar show on Sunday so I'll see if i can get a blank nut there.

Got to go & press on now - moving on to Scarlet O'Hara & The Man With The Golden Arm .......

I must confess after thinking this thing was the best idea in the world ever for a long time I didn't get on with the one I tried recently. HOWEVER it doesn't stop it looking lovely

Just get some decent strings on it first!
