JapanAxe Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) This is the original and sought-after 'non-moustache' version of the BBE Opto Stomp, so no unwanted clicking in the effect sound. It is an exceptionally transparent compressor. On electric and acoustic guitar you only realise it's there when you turn it off and find your sound has suddenly got 'smaller'. It is more noticeable on bass guitar because of the much bigger dynamic range, so it will go from subtly enhanced to audibly squashed peaks as you turn the COMP control. True bypass switching. Works from PP3 9V battery or standard Boss-type adaptor (neither supplied). Looking for £65 shipped within mainland UK. Edited April 20, 2014 by JapanAxe
