Does everyone erm ....know their Key signatures?

Good to know your key sigs, even if you don't sight read.
If on a busking gig or Jazz gig, it's not uncommon for a band leader to
Turn around and hold up three fingers (A) or three fingers down (Eb) etc for key reference.

On the other hand, If you are a m***er at busking and find yourself on a dep gig
And are having a nightmare, and the band leader holds up two fingers (D)
Or thumb and first finger in the shape of (C) he might be suggesting something else.
