HowieBass
Processed at the same location (same ZIP code) twice looks more like they lost it somewhere in the building and it's just been spotted... dannybuoy
Try entering the same tracking number into Parcelforce.
KiOgon
Yeah it came in on 27th March & now they've finished playing football in the yard with, so they've booked it out, or binned it, or decided it's too broken to send on Nothing unusual for USPS
GazWills
nada, i only went for the cheaper option with prymaxe, so don't think it'll be trackable on parcelforce... was hoping to have it by now!!!
RhysP
If you went for a cheaper option then it could well be being sent surface mail rather than air mail - 6 to 8 weeks isn't unusual for surface mail.
dannybuoy
I bought a couple of pedals from the same place using the same shipping method - one took 7 days and the other around 10. It's part of the gamble of buying cheap pedals form the US. If it was 100% trouble free, everyone would be at it! essexbasscat
I tend to trust it will arrive inside the next three months and forget all about it for most of the week
KingBollock
I have only ever ordered from the US once, it wasn't music related (it was a camp bed), it took 3 days to go across the states and to Scotland, and 10 days to get from Scotland to the Midlands. jetofuj
Once it took 5 weeks for my pedal to arrive from US to EU, as it went to Australia first
molan
I think USPS tracking basically stops once it hits the final airport destination in the USA. It doesn't pick up that it might already have hit the UK and got bogged down locally here. If there's duty to pay then Parcelforce will post you a confirmation and this can easily add a week or two to delivery time. For small items I've pretty much given up on USPS because it's got way too slow over the last year. One of our suppliers insists on using them and we've had some 8-10 week delivery times for pickups and parts
GazWills
yeah, i'll forget about it for a bit (not easy!)... luck of the draw - if it bypasses customs it'll be worth the wait anyway
PauBass
No problems with USPS either here. I have used it three times and each time items arrived in a week. As Molan said, tracking stops once it leaves the US.
NancyJohnson
I know that the USA is a big place, but the postal service there is awful. A couple of years back, I bought a book from a dealer in lower Manhattan...it was being delivered to my hotel on 58th St (the hotel were going to keep it for me pending my arrival). I got proof of dispatch about a week before we left and it didn't reach the hotel until a couple of days after we were back in the UK. Well over two weeks to travel a mile or two. Staggering. tonyxtiger
I've had lots of delays with USPS but in fairness it always arrived eventually. Including a thunderbird that appeared at my door three months after it showed as leaving the US.
Prime_BASS
Big gamble using the clowns over the pond. If you are lucky it's gets on a plane within a few days and you might get it a week after payment, other times I've paid and waited over a month. This days I pay express shipping (if it's not ridiculous) and if it does arrive in the expected time I go to complaints and get a refund on the postage. Gwilym
A recent experience of mine: package sent from the US via USPS, tracking number not recognised in Parcel Force tracker. Next thing I know I get a slip of paper through the door saying they have a parcel for me and that there are charges to pay. Amazingly, Parcel Force applied their own tracking number once it reached the UK. Useless when you don't know what it is!
plunkrock
Had a pedal dispatched from the US on Monday with very little action on tracking. Just checked how long my last pedal took to come and it was over 2 weeks Uuuuuuuuuuuuuurgh.
linear
I once had a package come from Virginia in the US that took a week long detour out and back to Netherlands Antilles. Kev
It varies so much its crazy. I have had a pedal turn up from the US in a matter of days, not using the express service either. I used the express service last year, 3-5 days, took 2 weeks.
GazWills
quick update... 3 days after being rediscovered in NY / the end of the USPS football game... it just arrived

GazWills
EQD disaster transport jr. part 14 of my ludicrous, ongoing delay hunt!
linear
Nice. I've had my eye on the larger version for a while. Many years ago I rode on the roller coaster those pedals are named after. It's long since been dismantled though.
