Names Al 48 years old, been playing bass around 35 of those year and still loving every minuet of it.. I'm a Laney man ( No boos please lol) and have used lots of bass's over the years... My 3 top bass's I use at the moment are a Gibson Thunderbird, a vintage metal axxe warp and a dean z ( explorer)... Biggest regret was selling an Ibanez destroyer in the 80's... It was a great bass and I've never been able to replace it... Young and stupid at the time I guess... Anywhoo That's me... Good to finally be here... Quote

Marc S Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Welcome Al, I'm a middle aged BC'er too I started in the 80's and gave up playing after about 4 years 20 odd years later, I started playing again, and haven't looked back I've got a 20+ year old son, who also plays bass and he's pretty damn good, but I wish he'd join a band These days, I play Double Bass too .... and I really love that Keep playing matey and I'm sure you'll meet lots of good folk on here Marc Quote
