Hi Folks

I just took delivery of a second hand Schaller 2000 5s bass bridge, in good condition boxed etc to replace the bridge on my retrovibe. Unfortunately it's not big enough to cover the holes made by the ferrules! So basically I'm looking for a wider 5 string bridge!

Anyone got anything?

Technical drawing with detailed measurements can be found here - http://guitar-parts.biz/hp193121/Bassbridge-2000-5-string.htm?ITServ=C513d0475X1455a16fc47XY5b7

The current mm style bridge is 10.5 cm and the schaller 9.6 so a centimetre too short. I'd be looking for a bridge to cover 10.5. Potentially get away with a couple of millimetres here and there.

you really need a bridge with a base plate wider than 10 cm?! :o
most I've seen are all around 9.5 to 9.6 cm
what is the string spacing of the ferrules?

I just posted this bridge for sale, but as most others it's 9.5 wide http://basschat.co.uk/topic/234479-genuine-fender-hmv-high-mass-vintage-5-string-bass-bridge/page__fromsearch__1

Oh I see!
I have a Schaller 2000 4 string bridge on one of my basses...really great device with excellent tone and resonance.
Sorry it doesn't work for you
