AER Basic performer for electric bass

Any thoughts on the AER Basic performer, I recently acquired an AER Amp one which is immense and seems to defy the laws of physics, but I can't help thinking what the basic performer could do with those 4 8inch individually powered speakers. It gets cracking review for double bass, but what about electric bass, anyone got experience with this?

My good mate Binkybongo has both and Amp One and a Basic Performer - worth a PM (I've not heard the latter but Binky speaks highly of it - very different to the Amp One)
